This well-known Canadian businessperson, respected philanthropist and former candidate for political office brings his significant business and corporate financial experience and extensive network to Renaissance M&A.
Throughout his career, Arthur has focused on three key areas: initiatives and creative ideas, building businesses and leading people. His experience is deep and wide-ranging: from corporate matters and finance to family businesses, family wealth management and related succession planning. With his particular brand of expertise and personable approach, he’s often the first person business owners turn to when seeking advice on building value and how to successfully transition out of their companies.
Arthur’s love of competitive sports has translated into an impressive ownership resume including the Vancouver Canucks, Vancouver Grizzlies and General Motors Place (now Rogers Place). He chaired the Vancouver/Whistler 2010 Bid Society which helped to bring the 2010 Winter Olympics to Vancouver. Most recently, Arthur was inducted to the British Columbia Sports Hall of Fame and was the recipient of the W.A.C Bennett Award, given to an individual who has made “…a significant, unique and lasting contribution to sport in the Province of British Columbia.”
